Albert C. Blais

ALBERT C. BLAIS “Piṕere”, 88, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, August 17, 2014. He was the beloved husband of the late Marie (Latinville) Blais and cherished grandfather of the late Michael A. Pannone. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Romeo J. and Simone A. (Blais) Blais.

Mr. Blais was the former owner of A.C. Blais & Daughters, before his retirement. He was a Navy Veteran serving during WWII and was an avid New England sports fan.

He is survived by his loving daughters, Joan Trammell, Linda Simpson and her husband Charles and Marquita Taylor and her husband Edward. He is also survived by his cherished 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and a great-great granddaughter.

His funeral will be held Friday, August 22, 2014 at 8:45am from the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Paul Church, One St. Paul Place, Cranston. Burial will be private. Visiting hours Thursday, August 21st from 4pm to 8pm.
