Adelaide F. Blake (Schlink), 77, of North Providence, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Monday, June 25, 2012 at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Robert F. Blake. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Elizabeth (Riley) Schlink.
Adelaide was a U.S. Marine Veteran of the Korean War.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Besides her husband of 34 years she is survived by four daughters, Debra Ann Choiniere and her husband Michael, Cyndi Lee DeMasco-Carlson, Jo-Ann Louise DeMasco-Soscia and Barbara Marie DeMasco and her husband, David Beauchemin; a brother, Albert Schlink; 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Robert Schlink, William Schlink, Mabel Noebels, Barbara Musumeci and Elsie Plante.
Her funeral will be held Saturday, June 30, 2012 at 8 a.m. from the MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. in Mary, Mother of Mankind Church, 25 Fourth St., North Providence. Visitation Friday 5-8 p.m. Inurnment with Military Honors will be in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Please Omit Flowers.
