A. Edmund Donatelli, 90, of North Providence, passed away Monday, February 28, 2011 at home. He was the husband of the late Edythe (Marwell) Donatelli and the father of the late A. Edmund Donatelli, Jr. and Cheryl Judith Donatelli. Born in North Providence, he was the son of the late Giuseppe and Giulia (Urbano) Donatelli.
Mr. Donatelli was President of Donatelli Building Company. He was a member of the Association of General Contractors as well as the Ocean State Flying Club.
He leaves a brother, Robert Donatelli; two grandchildren, Craig Donatelli and his wife, Patricia and Keith Donatelli; a great granddaughter, Brooke Donatelli and a daughter-in-law, Donna Addison. He was the brother of the late John, Vincent, Anthony and Joseph Donatelli and Ernestine Rocchio.
His funeral will be held Thursday at 9 a.m., from the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Mary, Mother of Mankind Church, Fourth St., North Providence. Visitation Wednesday 4-7 p.m. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. In Lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to RI Breast Cancer Coalition, 716 Center of New England Blvd., Suite 245, Coventry RI 02816.
